This presentation will provide you the tools to safely anesthetize patients with intracranial and spinal cord pathology. At the end of this session, you should be able to:

Understand the physiological and pathophysiological changes that affect anesthesia decision making in patients with nervous system disease
Know how to devise an adequate anesthetic protocol for a patient with brain or spinal cord pathology
Know how to appropriately treat complications that may occur under anesthesia of patients with nervous system disease
