Program Description:

This presentation will review how to briefly evaluate a behavior problem and the degree of risk it poses to the client and the pet. Basic information for helping the client make decisions regarding how to prevent the worsening of problems, how to identify other professionals to assist and how to apply some behavioral band aids will all be covered.

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn to assess relative degree of risk to patients and clients from a variety of different behavior problems.
2. Learn to apply basic preventive behavior techniques that can be used to help prevent behavior problems from worsening.
3. Learn to recognize some of the credentials of different behavior professionals and who to refer to for which kinds of problems.
