Program Description:

This presentation is set to teach the attendee the basic ins and outs of respiratory anatomy and physiology (including the production of carbon dioxide within the body), as well as how equipment works to measure end tidal carbon dioxide. The lecture will then go in depth into learning how to analyze capnography waveforms, going through normal and abnormal waveforms that can be seen throughout anesthesia, and how to fix those abnormalities.
