Non-verbal communication refers to all behavioral signals that go on between individuals during an interaction, except what is stated verbally.
Asking open-ended questions is a way of eliciting information using an unstructured question that allows the other person to answer it their own words without us shaping the content. Open-ended questions usually begin with “how”, “what”, “when”, or “where”, or phrases such as “tell me about that” or “say more”.
