Conquering Chemotherapy

Course Details

This lecture has been RACE Approved for 1 CE hour of continuing education credit for veterinarians.

This course is geared toward oncology veterinary nurses, but is applicable for any/all veterinary professionals looking for a general overview and basic understanding of chemotherapeutic agents and their utilization within the veterinary practice. Following completion of this course, the participant will have a strong foundation in the principles of cellular biology in respect to cancer, the appropriate terminology to utilize in discussion within the veterinary team and with clientele, the mechanism of action of the medications utilized, recommendations for the administration of chemotherapy, as well as best practices for the safety of all those involved in its administration.
