CPR for Anesthetists (RECOVER 2012)

Program Description:

Patients that suffer cardiopulmonary arrest while under anesthesia, have proven to have better odds of not only recovering from it, but also surviving to discharge. Therefore, the anesthetist’s acquisition of the necessary skills needed for an effective and updated CPR management should be considered a priority. This session will provide the anesthetist with the main principles of the RECOVER guidelines on how to correctly manage cardiopulmonary arrest in an anesthetized patient.
