Program Description:

In this presentation we will look at the electrical conduction system of heart and learn how to apply this knowledge to what we see on an electrocardiogram. Common arrythmias will also be explored.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify the parts of the cardiac conduction system and understand the effect on the myocardium
• Relate the action of the cardiac conduction system to what is seen on an ECG
• Identify common arrythmias
• Correctly use and troubleshoot the ECG machine
