Euthanasia Care – Module 1: Influencing How Euthanasia Care Touches the Veterinary Team

In this first module, of the Euthanasia Care Series, learners will be introduced to the concept of being a stakeholder in the lives and medical outcomes of their patients and analyze their own motivation for being a part of the veterinary team, reflecting on how their root motivation directly correlates with the way euthanasia care impacts them as an individual. Through the lens of the Human Animal Bond, learners will enhance their capacity to serve patients and their families with a mindset of service and partnership, gaining an appreciation for the gift of euthanasia care. Empowered by a better understanding of how euthanasia care touches individuals, learners will then be able to offer euthanasia care characterized by excellence, with pride and satisfaction.
