Euthanasia Care – Module 2: Challenging Decision-Making: When it Feels “Wrong”

This lecture has been RACE Approved for 1 CE hour for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Module 2, of the Euthanasia Care Series, focuses on case-based examples of when there may not be alignment between the veterinary team and the patient’s family regarding the timing (or need) for euthanasia care, teaching learners how to examine their own biases and how to achieve a mindset of collaboration and partnership. A portion of the module focuses on the psychology of their own internal sense of “right” and “wrong,” equipping learners to analyze their own position and build unity between veterinary teams and the families they serve.
