From Consultation to Treatment: What Your Client Can Expect When Meeting With a Radiation Oncologist

This lecture focuses on what is discussed with clients during consultation with their pet including tumor biology, treatment options of the various tumor type. This lecture will use feline nasal carcinoma as the case example. This lecture also touches on specific case considerations that a radiation oncologist is considering prior to, during and after consultation to determine what treatment options are best suited for each patient. The lecture follows the sequence of preparation that occurs pre-, during and post-consultation up until treatment starts. It is designed to give veterinarians an idea of what goes into each individual case.
