Summary: This lecture will discuss acquired and congenital myasthenia gravis in dogs and cats. We will review the physiology of normal neuromuscular transmission, the pathophysiology and differences between congenital and acquired myasthenia, and the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis for the condition.
