Program Description:
This lecture discusses the differential diagnosis, identification, prognosis, and treatment of common toxins causing neurological signs in cats and dogs.
Learning Objectives:
- Students will be able to identify clinical signs of neurological toxicity and understand how to differentiate toxin induced clinical signs from other neurological presentations.
- Students will be identify clinical signs with specific toxins and be able to develop a treatment plan specific to the toxin.
- Students will be able to develop a general treatment plan for an as yet unknown but suspected neurotoxin.
