Separation Anxiety in Dogs

Many dogs suffer from separation anxiety and the results can be devastating for the dog and the owner. Dogs with this disorder are suffering emotionally and require a comprehensive behavior modification program to help them learn how to be alone. Medication is sometimes needed to aid the program. This lecture discusses why some dogs suffer from separation anxiety, how to diagnose the disorder, and treatment options to try to resolve the issue.
