The Many Faces of Capnography

ETCO2 monitoring can be intimidating if you’re not sure how to effectively use it and interpret the results. This lecture will review the concept of capnometry and capnography and discuss the different types of monitors available in vet medicine. It will cover basic use of ETCO2 monitors as well as troubleshooting techniques. The lecture will include discussion of several different uses of ETCO2 monitoring in the clinical setting and will cover interpretation of both ETCO2 measurement and waveforms.
