Course Details

Anytime a new member joins a team, whether he or she is new to the hospital or simply transferring from another department, the existing team will experience a shift and will have a role to play in creating healthy dynamics and a seamless transition. This module will focus on setting realistic expectations for the existing team, as well as provide recommendations to utilize DiSC to aid in team cohesion. Additionally, you will become familiar with the four stages of learning a new team member will progress through, along with associated levels of support, direction and leadership needs at each stage.
